Tennessee and Alabama are among the five programs battling for the services of Amari Rodgers, a four-star athlete out of Knoxville Catholic (Tenn.) High School.
Rodgers, the son of Southern Cal offensive coordinator and Tennessee legend Tee Martin, announced his top five on Twitter Thursday night. He is considering the Vols, Tide, Florida State, Clemson and Wake Forest, and will make his commitment public on Valentine’s Day.

Rodgers seemed set to join his dad with the Trojans after he committed to play for USC in June. However, Rodgers de-committed from USC in December and has since paid several unofficial visits to Tennessee. Martin, of course, won a national title with the Vols as their quarterback.
Rodgers is rated the No. 7 prospect in the state of Tennessee.
