A pair of SEC teams could end up benefitting from one of the nation’s top quarterbacks changing his mind.
Kellen Mond, the No. 4 dual-threat quarterback, released his new top three schools after recently de-committing from Baylor. Auburn and Texas A&M made the cut, along with Ohio State.

Mond, who plays at national powerhouse IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., is one of several players who have decided to pursue other opportunities after Baylor coach Art Briles was fired and several other university personnel were either fired or resigned in the wake of a sexual assault scandal.
Both Auburn and Texas A&M have had elite dual-threat quarterbacks de-commit on them in this recruiting cycle. Tate Martell, the No. 1 dual-threat QB, backed off his pledge to the Aggies, while Lowell Narcisse, the No. 5 dual-threat QB, de-committed from Auburn and has recently pledged to LSU.
