Despite a crushing 27-3 loss to rival Florida, UGA (5-3, 3-3 SEC) opened as a 17-point favorite over Kentucky (4-4, 2-4), according to vegasinsider.com.
Both UGA and Kentucky are coming off of disappointing losses: The Bulldogs fell to Florida, and the Wildcats lost 52-21 against Tennessee on Saturday night. The two teams are out of the SEC East race and will compete to become bowl eligible.
The Bulldogs haven’t lost to the Wildcats since 2009 and have scored 59 and 63 points in the last two games in the series.
UGA and Kentucky will kick off in Athens at noon ET, and the game will be televised on SEC Network.
