UGA RB Sony Michel heads to locker room in first quarter against Florida
UGA starting running back Sony Michel left Saturday’s game against Florida in the first quarter and jogged to the locker room.
No official word has been given on Michel’s injury, but CBS’ Allie LaForce reported that it is believed to be a wrist injury. After starting the first series, Michel was not on the field for two consecutive short-yardage runs.
UPDATE: Sony Michel re-entered the game for UGA in the second quarter. Per LaForce, the training staff taped up his right wrist in the locker room and taped two fingers together.
