USA Today is predicting more SEC dominance from Alabama.

USA Today projects the win-loss record for all 14 SEC teams

We’re now less than a month away from the beginning of the college football season and the anticipation is palpable. USA Today is doing its part to whet the palette as they’ve unveiled their projections for all 130 FBS teams.

Without further ado, here’s the predictions SEC fans care about.

While projected to lose a conference game for the first time since Sept. 19, 2015 vs. Ole Miss, Alabama fans would probably still be pleased with an 11-1 record, as it would provide the Tide a pathway to the CFP. Likewise, LSU fans can certainly get behind a 10-2 record in the first full season under Ed Orgeron.

Despite the buzz around QB Jarrett Stidham, USA Today projects Auburn to have the same number of wins as last season.

Meanwhile, if these projections hold true, the SEC East will be one of the most competitive divisions in the nation. USA Today has Georgia coming out on top of a three-team tiebreaker scenario with Florida and Tennessee.

Last season, Kentucky qualified for a bowl game for the first time since 2010, however the Wildcats are picked to regress back to an under .500 record.

Arkansas is the first SEC team on the schedule for 2017, as they’ll host Florida A&M on Aug. 31.

The highly anticipated clash between Alabama and Florida State is slated for Sept. 2 from the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA.
