There were some who questioned if Alabama was the top team in the country. That does not appear to be the case anymore.
After a dominating 49-10 victory over Tennessee, Alabama has reclaimed the top spot in USA Today’s 1-128 rankings. The win moved the Crimson Tide back into the No. 1 spot a week after Ohio State held the No. 1 ranking.
Another big mover in the USA Today rankings was Arkansas. Following the Razorbacks big win over Ole Miss, Arkansas moved up 13 spots to No. 16 , the biggest jump among teams in the top 30. Ole Miss fell dropped 12 spots due to the loss.
One SEC team also had the biggest drop. Georgia fell 21 spots in the poll, the most by any team and are now ranked as the 56th best team. The Bulldogs lost 17-16 at home to Vanderbilt. For the Commodores win, they moved up to No. 67.
