Florida QB commit sets the record straight
What will Feleipe Franks do?
The 4-star quarterback has been one of nation’s biggest recruiting stories in recent weeks — and not all of it has to do with him.
The U.S. Army All-American from Crawfordville (Fla.) Wakulla backed off his LSU pledge in late November, and then flipped to Florida days later.
But LSU hasn’t stopped pursuing Franks since his switch, and the Gators are now flirting with 5-star QB Jacob Eason, a Georgia commit who officially visited UF last week following Mark Richt’s firing.
With questions surrounding his recruitment, Franks set the record straight in an exclusive interview with SEC Country on Tuesday.
And it’s good news for Florida.
“I’m going to stick with it and love the decision I’ve made,” Franks said. “I’m sold on it. I’m not going to decommit and re-commit three times.”
In the video below, Franks answers the following questions:
- What does he wants to get out of early enrollment?
- Why did he flip from LSU to Florida?
- Is he concerned about competing with other quarterbacks?
- How is he handling the Tigers coming after him?
