DeAngelo Gibbs is one of the top prospects in the country. On Friday night, he showed why that is the case.
Gibbs, who lined up at receiver, hauled in an unreal 70-yard touchdown catch for Grayson High School. The grab had shades of Odell Beckham’s one-handed grab against the Dallas Cowboys.
Gibbs’ team won 70-6 on Friday night. Perhaps the most amazing thing about his catch is that wide receiver isn’t even his best position. Gibbs is rated as the No. 3 safety in the class of 2017 and the No. 41 prospect overall. He is being heavily pursued by Georgia and Tennessee.
With plays like this, maybe his college coach should consider letting him play both ways.
