Kirk Herbstreit channeled his old self under center at Ohio State Monday and put his arm toward a good cause.
His career completion percentage for the Buckeyes was over 50 percent at 56.4, so it’s no surprise he can make this happen.

Herbstreit’s reaction suggests he wasn’t sure if he would make it or not. Then again, he doesn’t really aim the ball and chucks it pretty casually at the hole.
Maybe he was just feigning confidence, but at least he didn’t push the ball forward like the Dr. Pepper toss at the SEC Championship Game.
According to its website, Herbstreit won the $500,000 for “Extra Yard For Teachers” which says it helps educators by putting money back into classrooms. It’s a very worthy cause indeed.
