Just when you think you’re ready to move on from Les Miles being a part of the day-to-day SEC football coach, the former LSU coach finds an unintentional way to drag you back into his corner.
This time, it is something as simple as the 64-year-old discovering the fidget spinner phenomenon that will get you laughing at the grass-eating football coach.
The Players’ Tribune released a video of The Mad Hatter sitting down at a table with the simple contraption that has claimed the time and attention of so many across the country. He went from confused, to slightly frustrated, to obsessed in a matter of minutes.
“I guarantee it,” Miles concluded. “People will buy this.”
Oh, they have, Les. By the millions.

After going another offseason without securing a new head coaching gig, it’s becoming increasingly clear that we’re likely to get most of our Les Miles fix from his contributions to sites like The Players’ Tribune than his contributions to winning football teams.
Which is a shame, because he holds a 141-55 record as a head coach and his two national title appearances seem like they should have earned him another chance at coaching somewhere after LSU fired him early in the 2016 season.
