The popular college football docuseries Last Chance U is back for a third season — with a twist.

The season seems focus on some of the same thematic elements that defined the first two seasons of this series. But new characters — including coach Jason Brown — should bring an edge to the series that was missing in the show’s second season.
Several high-profile players will be featured in the series before moving on to FBS programs this fall:
- Tennessee DL Emmit Gooden
- Arkansas RB Rakeem Boyd
- Oklahoma OT Tramonda Moore
- Washington State WR Calvin Jackson
- Colorado CB Delrick Abrams Jr.
The season premiers on July 20 on Netflix.
