The rest of the college football world may have been standing in awe at Saquon Barkley’s amazing abilities, but at least one Ohio State security guard knew he still had an important job to do. Like checking the credentials of those pesky media members who like to crowd the end zone when things get exciting.
We take you outside the SEC for a moment to enjoy a chuckle courtesy of the Ohio State-Penn State game, where security guards apparently do what they’re paid to do. Especially when the cameras are on.
Most people will see a great kickoff return by a Heisman candidate when they watch this clip. But look a little closer for some bonus footage after this game-breaking play:

While others are going nuts, our stocking-headed, red-bearded friend is doing what had to be done: Checking credentials. Seemingly unfazed by the chaos around him, this Ohio Stadium employee, this guy earned some national TV time and probably a raise from an impressed boss.
Oh, as for the football game, Urban Meyer is pretty upset because James Franklin’s team is putting the hurt on the Buckeyes early. An angry Urban almost always makes for happy SEC fans, right?
