Happy Tuesday, South Carolina fans.
More news surfaced out of Columbia, S.C., about the Gamecocks’ new coaching staff on Monday, as well as a former South Carolina great helping out the community.
Here are two things to know:
- Former Gamecocks running back Marcus Lattimore gave back to the South Carolina flood victims. Lattimore’s family and other volunteers provided gift cards to Wal-Mart for 25 children affected by the flood earlier this year just in time for Christmas.
- South Carolina announced the addition of two more coaches, including interim coach Shawn Elliott as the offensive line coach and Jeff Dillman as director of strength and conditioning. Elliott was expected to be retained and continued to recruit for the Gamecocks, while Dillman served in the same capacity under Muschamp at Florida from 2012-2014
Other South Carolina news from around the Internet

- The State’s Josh Kendall wrote that former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw is delighted with his alma mater’s hiring of Kurt Roper as offensive coordinator.
