Happy Monday, Gamecocks fans.
South Carolina football received some good news as first-year coach Will Muschamp addressed the fan base during the Gamecocks’ basketball tilt with Missouri.
Here are two things to know:
- Watch Muschamp address the Gamecocks fans and send the message that “We’re not going to get outworked.” Muschamp spoke at halftime of Saturday’s South Carolina-Missouri basketball game, and introduced his entire coaching staff.
- South Carolina gave fans a glimpse at its new practice facility. The state-of-the-art indoor facility complements what should be a new era of Gamecocks football under Muschamp.
Other South Carolina news from around the Internet
- The State’s Josh Kendall wrote that Travaris Robinson is ready for a big jump in job status. Robinson served as Muschamp’s defensive backs coach from 2011-14 at Florida and again last season at Auburn.
- The State’s Matt Connolly wrote that Shameik Blackshear is not in any trouble. Muschamp said that Blackshear won’t face any discipline from the university, football team or the police after being shot in an incident in December. Muschamp called Blackshear “the victim” in this situation.
