Happy Friday, South Carolina fans. There won’t be any football this Saturday for the Gamecocks, but there was some news out of Columbia, S.C.
Here are three things to know:
- Steve Spurrier signs with CAA; is broadcast work in his future? From the sidelines to the broadcast booth, we just want to hear what the Head Ball Coach has to say.
- A healthy Chris Lammons has added a spark for South Carolina’s defense. The cornerback, who has missed three games, recorded his first career interception last week against Vanderbilt.
- Perry Orth will remain South Carolina’s starting quarterback. Orth has started back-to-back games and three on the season. The junior continues to draw praise from both coaches and teammates.
