South Carolina point guard Rakym Felder, who was suspended due a third degree assault charge, had those charges dropped in court on Wednesday.
Per a report from Phil Kornbult of Sportstalk SC, Felder’s attorney confirmed the news on Thursday. The point guard had been suspended back June 30 by Frank Martin. Felder is not allowed to take classes this fall.
Felder averaged 5.6 points per game last year for the Gamecocks while playing 14.5 minutes per game.
The Gamecocks open their on Nov. 10 against Wofford. South Carolina advanced to the Final Four last year.
