Things change after winning a championship. Cities throw parades and random people on the street feel compelled to talk to you. Heck, your face might even pop up on a cereal box.
Well, Wheaties hasn’t yet to call, but the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team will continue to celebrate their recent NCAA Tournament title with commemorative coca-cola cans.
On the special cans, there will be a banner with the coke and Gamecocks logo, along with a congratulator phrase that says – “2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Champions”

“Coca-Cola would like to wholeheartedly congratulate the University of South Carolina and its fans,” said Aimee Cox, Director of Sponsorship for Colleges and Universities at Coca-Cola Consolidated according to WYFF. “As another way to commemorate this occasion, Gamecock fans can pick up limited-edition Coca-Cola cans to celebrate these dedicated young women and Coach Dawn Staley bringing home a national title for the first time in program history.”
The cans will be available in six-packs beginning on April 17.
