Former South Carolina defender Jadeveon Clowney notches 1st NFL sack
Jadeveon Clowney has arrived.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Clowney recorded his first career sack Sunday for the Houston Texans.
Clowney raced past Dolphins left tackle Branden Albert and brought down Ryan Tannehill for a 13-yard loss.
The former South Carolina stud defender missed most of his rookie season with a knee injury. On Sunday, Clowney reminded Texans fans what Gamecocks fans already knew — that Clowney is a force to be reckoned with when healthy.
