Connor Shaw is hitting the campaign trail.
The former South Carolina quarterback will join Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio on various campaign stops Wednesday and Thursday, according to The State’s Josh Kendall.
It remains to be seen if this could show an eventual interest in entering politics for Shaw, who is South Carolina’s all-time winningest quarterback. He is currently on the Cleveland Browns’ roster.
Shaw isn’t the first quarterback to campaign with a presidential candidate. Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd made an appearance with Republican presidential candidate John Kasich earlier this month.
