Former South Carolina track star Natasha Hastings has a shot to win a second Olympic gold medal.
After posting a season-best time of 49.90 seconds during Sunday night’s qualifying run, which she finished in third place, Hastings will compete in the final on Monday night at 9:45 p.m. ET on NBC.

A year after winning the SEC Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year, Hastings won Olympic gold in the 2008 games when she was apart of the 4×400-meter relay team.
