According to the report, Tut was waiting for clearance from the South Carolina admissions office. Tut visited South Carolina on July 17 and officially received an offer from the school earlier today.
Tut, originally from Melbourne, Australia, averaged 8.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 30 games at Monroe College. A 6-foot-9 forward with ability to play both on the perimeter and in the post, he shot 45 percent from the field and 31.9 percent from the 3-point line.
Tut is the sixth commitment of this year’s class, joining Sedee Keita, Khadim Gueye, Maik-Kalev Kotsar, Rakym Felder and Hassani Gravett.
