South Carolina fans didn’t have much to look forward to in their team’s game against UMass.
The Gamecocks were coming off of a bye week and before that a loss to Georgia. They were taking on a 1-6 UMass team. So before the game the South Carolina student section began tying their spirit towels together. Eventually the rope of towels spread across nearly entire section.

Fortunately for South Carolina fans, quarterback Jake Bentley had a solid first half, as he threw for two touchdown passes. The Gamecocks also scored 27 first half points, more than they had scored in any game this season.
