Williams-Brice Stadium has earned Missouri running back Damarea Crockett’s respect.
As relayed by Spurs & Feathers on Saturday night, Crockett said South Carolina’s stadium was the “rowdiest, loudest” he has experienced as a player, and he placed the setting above Tiger Stadium and Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Crockett heard plenty of the Gamecocks’ home crowd while running for 82 yards on 13 carries with one touchdown Saturday during South Carolina’s 31-21 victory, a result that lifted the Gamecocks to 5-4 overall and 3-4 in the SEC.
Missouri lost to LSU 42-7 on Oct. 1 at Tiger Stadium, and the Tigers fell to Florida 40-14 on Oct. 15 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
Mizzou RB Damarea Crockett said Willy-B was "rowdiest, loudest" stadium he's been in. Louder than LSU and Florida? "Yes" #Gamecocks

This is high praise for South Carolina fans. Tiger Stadium and Ben Hill Griffin both own reputations as some of the most imposing settings for visiting teams in the SEC.
Granted, Missouri was blown out in each of those games, so the crowd might have lost interest early. Still, this is nice kudos for Williams-Brice Stadium.
