South Carolina coach Will Muschamp extended an offer to 2017 athlete Aaron Abram on Sunday, after a satellite camp at Jones County Junior College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
The Gamecocks were the first major offer for the 5-foot-9, 175-pound prospect from Oak Grove High School (Hattiesburg).
“It’s just a blessing and it means a lot to me,” Abram said, adding that the entire South Carolina staff was on hand for the event.
Just put in work and blessed to say I've received my first SEC offer from University of South Carolina as an ATH!!!

According to impact360.ms, California and Purdue are also expressing interest. His prior offers were from junior colleges.
“But I have tons of interest,” Abram said. “Everyone (has) just been waiting to pull the trigger.”
Muschamp complimented Abram for his “impressive footwork, lateral and vertical quickness.”
Abram added, “(Muschamp) can see me being dangerous in the return game, and that I can be used similar to the ways UGA uses Isaiah McKenzie.”
As a junior, he rushed 97 times for 701 yards and two touchdowns.
The South Carolina coaching staff will host on campus camps every day this week.
