A former South Carolina basketball star reportedly has a new job.
As reported by Scott Eisberg of WCIV in Charleston, BJ McKie will leave Charleston Southern to become an assistant coach at East Tennessee State. McKie had worked at Charleston Southern since 2011, and he became an associate head coach there in 2015.
McKie, South Carolina’s all-time leading scorer, had 2,119 points with the Gamecocks from 1995-99. He was elected into the Gamecocks’ hall of fame one year ago.
