According to a report from John Whittle of TheBigSpur, South Carolina wide receiver Jamari Smith will transfer at the end of the season.
Listed as a redshirt junior, Smith is a public health major from Jacksonville, Fla. Whittle wrote that Smith will graduate in December before pursing the graduate transfer option.
Smith, who started in the opener against Vanderbilt, has yet to record a catch this season, but he has rushed 2 times for 7 yards.
During his South Carolina career, Smith has played multiple positions, including cornerback and running back. The most productive game of his career was a 103-yard rushing effort against Coastal Carolina in 2013.
