South Carolina coach Will Muschamp has found a home, and it’s got a pretty sweet view.
Muschamp bought a property worth $1.85 million in Lake Murray, S.C., according to The State’s Jeff Wilkinson.
Muschamp is certainly getting his money’s worth. The 9,417-square foot home features five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, a library, an office and a media room, according to Wilkinson.
The former Auburn defensive coordinator will make $3 million in his first season in Columbia, S.C., which is one of the lowest salaries among SEC head coaches. His salary will escalate by $100,000 annually, meaning it would reach $3.4 million by the time the five-year contract ends.
Now, Muschamp must ensure his stay in Lake Murray will last longer than his first head coaching stop. He was fired in 2014 after four seasons as Florida’s head coach.
