South Carolina is set to host 4-star SG Devontae Shuler for an official visit.
According to Phil Kornblut via The State, the former Irmo High School (S.C.) standout has yet to set any dates, but he’s planning to make stops at Southern Cal, Western Kentucky, Louisville and Oklahoma State in addition to a trip to Columbia.
“I have a good relationship with the Gamecocks and Frank (Martin),” Shuler said, per the report. “He says he likes how I play on both ends of the court. They have a good conference to play in. Frank plays most everybody on the team and I like his style of play.”
As a junior at Oak Hill Academy in Virginia, Shuler averaged 10 points and 2.4 assists. According to 247Sports’ composite, Shuler is the No. 72 ranked prospect in the Class of 2017.
