Sindarius Thornwell had a great end to his Thursday, when he was picked in the NBA Draft. But the start to his day was quite outstanding as well.
According to The State’s David Cloninger, the former South Carolina star bought a brand-new car on Thursday morning: a black Porsche Panamera.
Thornwell was selected with the No. 48 pick by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2017 NBA Draft, but was quickly traded to the LA Clippers.
Thornwell was named the SEC player of the year in 2017 after averaging 21.4 points and 7.2 rebound per game as a senior. The Lancaster, S.C., native helped drive the Gamecocks all the way to the first Final Four in program history, as they strung together a magical run through the NCAA Tournament and left an indelible piece of history on the South Carolina program.
