South Carolina coach Will Muschamptold reporters about Moore’s surgery during the SEC meetings in Destin, Fla.
The senior from Cooper City, Fla. will sit out this season, but he’s eligible to return in 2017.
In each of his first three seasons at South Carolina, Moore has been the team’s leading tackler. With three more interceptions, he’ll break the school’s career record of 14, set by Bo Davies (1969-71).
