Millions have been affected by Hurricane Matthew throughout Florida, Georgia and South Carolina.
The FLorida-LSU game has been postponed and the Georgia-South Carolina game has been pushed to Sunday because of the hurricane. And South Carolina athletic director Ray Tanner has seen first hand the effects of the hurricane.
In a video by The State, numerous trees have fallen onto Tanner’s home, with some being entirely uprooted. Some trees are even resting on Tanner’s home, undoubtedly causing damage to Tanner’s home.
The Gamecocks agreed to move Saturday’s game against Georgia to Sunday due to the Hurricane. The Bulldogs found alternate sleeping arrangements so that their hotel rooms could be used for people evacuating to Columbia.
The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game can be seen on the SEC Network.
