South Carolina backup quarterback Connor Mitch was used sparingly in two seasons in Columbia. He will now finish his final two years of eligibility at FCS James Madison.

Mitch, as he noted graduated in three and a half years at South Carolina. In two seasons with the Gamecocks, he appeared in four games completing 15 of 39 passes for 184 yards. He threw one touchdown.
