South Carolina announced a partnership with Bolen Motorsports for this weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Martinsville Speedway.
The Gamecocks men’s and women’s teams will be recognized for their berths in the Final Four.
According to a release from the university, the No. 66 truck will feature a special Gamecock paint scheme on Saturday, in support of both teams.
South Carolina became the 10th school in NCAA history to send both the men and women to the Final Four in the same year. For the men, this is the first trip to the Final Four in school history. It’s the women’s second in three years.
Bolen Motorsports owner Jeff Bolen is an alumnus of the school.
“What an honor it is to carry the Fighting Gamecocks along for our race this weekend,” Bolen said. “Gamecock fans are like none other and we look forward to the opportunity to showcase the success.”
The women play Friday against Stanford at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN2. The men play Gonzaga on Saturday 6:09 p.m. on CBS.
The race is also on Saturday. It starts at 3 p.m. on Fox.
