Bandy de-committed from Oklahoma earlier this summer, then listed South Carolina among his favorites. The Gamecocks hosted him during the program’s cookout in July, but the Hurricanes lured him back to campus late last week to watch practice.
South Carolina will continue to pursue 4-star Jamyest Williams as the third cornerback in its 2017 class. Three-star prospects Damarri Mathis and Tavyn Jackson have been committed to the Gamecocks since June.
