Will Muschamp was introduced Monday morning as South Carolina’s head coach, and he didn’t waste any time getting out on the recruiting trail.
Muschamp and former interim coach Shawn Elliott visited with a trio of in-state prospects after his introductory press conference, according to GamecockCentral.com’s Wes Mitchell.
They visited with T.J. Brunson, a Louisville commit and 3-star linebacker, at nearby Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, S.C.

Later, Muschamp had an in-home visit with 4-star wide receiver Bryan Edwards from Conway High School. Edwards is the No. 3 player in the state for 2016 and is uncommitted.
GamecockCentral.com also reported Muschamp and Elliott, who will remain on staff as the offensive line coach, visited the No. 1 player in the state, senior running back Tavien Feaster of Spartanburg High School. Feaster is a Clemson commit.
