Martin and the Gamecocks will meet up with Gonzaga in the Final Four. For both schools, it will be their first Final Four in school history. It also will be the first Final Four for Martin, who had only advanced to the Elite Eight in his time as Kansas State’s head coach.
The Gamecocks advanced to the Final Four thanks to a 77-70 win over Florida. The Gamecocks were the first team from the SEC to advance to the Final Four this year. Kentucky has a chance to join them in the Final Four.
