Gamecocks counting on Bryson Allen-Williams

South Carolina coaches are looking for senior linebacker Bryson Allen-Williams to boost the team’s pass rush in 2017. 

The Ellenwood, Ga., native flourished in his first season under coach Will Muschamp and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson, posting a career-highs in total tackles (75) and tackles for loss (8.5) in 2016.

Early returns positive on Keisean Nixon

Despite only joining the team on Tuesday, JUCO transfer defensive back Keisean Nixon is already showcasing his “good skillset”, according to Robinson.

“We’ll continue to meet with him extra and all that kind of stuff, to get him up-to-date on what we’re doing, but he’s doing a really good job and we’re excited to have him here,” the defensive coordinator told reporters.
