Delaware transfer guard Kory Holden left his visit to South Carolina with good vibes, and it appears those feelings were good enough to secure his commitment.
The 6-foot-2 guard will transfer to the Gamecocks to play for coach Frank Martin, Holden announced on his Twitter account Tuesday.

Holden will have to sit out a year due to NCAA transfer rules, but South Carolina will get a guard coming off a sophomore campaign where he averaged 17.7 points and 4.2 assists per game.
“I liked how close the players were, the coaching staff and how it was like a big community and family,” Holden told The State‘s Phil Kornblut last week. “Coach Martin was what I thought he was. He’ll tell you the truth. He’ll tell you what he wants from you and lets you know he’s going to coach you.”
Eventually, Martin plans to use Holden’s skills in smaller lineups where he can play with another ball handler.
“He (Martin) wants a two point-guard system,” Holden told Kornblut, “So he said for me to sit out, get bigger and stronger and come in and play.”
