South Carolina has opened as a 15.5-point underdog to No. 1 Clemson for Saturday’s regular-season finale, according to VegasInsider.com.
The Gamecocks (3-8) are coming off a 23-22 loss at the hands of FCS opponent The Citadel and have dropped four consecutive games.
Clemson (11-0), on the other hand, looks to remain unbeaten. The Tigers won last year’s meeting with South Carolina 35-17, which snapped a five-year losing streak against their in-state rivals.
Clemson leads the all-time series 66-42-4.
The game is scheduled for noon ET at Williams-Brice Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN.
