With flood damage forcing Saturday’s South Carolina-LSU game to be relocated to Baton Rouge, players and fans alike have been sounding off about the school’s decision. Gamecocks kicker Elliott Fry took the move well — and he took a jab at in-state rival Clemson in the process.
“Excited to get to play in the real Death Valley this weekend! #gamecocknation” Fry tweeted on Tuesday.
Both LSU and Clemson’s home stadiums have earned the nickname “Death Valley.” Clearly, Fry prefers the SEC version.
