South Carolina kicker Elliott Fry recorded his first hole-in-one Tuesday afternoon and found a unique way to express his happiness.
The senior kicker composed a beautiful poem to commemorate the moment. He posted the poem on Twitter later that day. It went like this:
“I first saw you hiding in the bushes on the first hole. I didn’t realize that you were guna (going to) be the one to go in off the flag pole. I thought you were just another logo’d Titleist NXT. But now you are much much more to me.”
South Carolina fans hope Fry is as accurate kicking field goals this season as he was on the golf course this week. Fry converted 20 of his 28 field goal attempts and nailed all 25 of his extra point attempts last season.
