South Carolina landed its third 2018 commitment on Tuesday afternoon when Hank Manos announced his pledge to the Gamecocks.
Manos, a state champion wrestler from Chapin (S.C.) High School, joins 3-star wide receiver Darius Rush and 3-star offensive guard LaMarius Benson.

Manos (6-4, 275) committed to South Carolina over offers from Duke, N.C. State and Wake Forest. He was also receiving interest from Clemson, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
South Carolina offered earlier this year after offensive line coach Eric Wolford stopped by Chapin to watch Manos during wrestling practice.
“I like him a lot. He’s a very intense guy in practice, but a nice guy to talk to outside of it, which is perfect,” Manos said, during a recent interview with SEC Country.
His former teammate, 3-star tight end Will Register, will enroll at South Carolina later this summer.
“He is a huge asset for the future of the offensive line at the University of South Carolina,” Register said. “He is a relentless worker and I’m glad he is coming.”
The Gamecocks are certainly happy to have him.

“The strength and conditioning coach up there is great. Coach (Will) Muschamp is great. They have a great staff top to bottom,” Manos said.
