South Carolina lands commitment No. 16
South Carolina hasn’t had a stellar start to its 2015 campaign, but the program continued its success on the recruiting trail on Thursday.
Kelvin Harmon, a 3-star receiver from Palmyra, N.J., committed to the Gamecocks during a ceremony at Palmyra High School. Harmon gives South Carolina its 16th commitment in next year’s class, joining 4-star Bryan Edwards (Conway, S.C.) and 3-star Tre Jackson (Baton Rouge, La.) as the group’s third receiver.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound receiver, who has reported 11 offers, has long been considered a strong South Carolina lean.
Harmon is rated as the No. 15 player in the state of New Jersey.
