South Carolina finally added another body to its 2019 recruiting class on Wednesday.
The Gamecocks landed weakside defensive end Rodricus Fitten, a 3-star prospect out of Atlanta, Ga. who’s rated as the No. 25 recruit at his position in the cycle.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Fitten announced his decision on Twitter.

Fitten’s pledge comes about two weeks after South Carolina extended its offer. Fitten chose the Gamecocks over a couple ACC schools, Louisville and North Carolina, as well as Iowa State.
Up until Wednesday, South Carolina’s only other commitment in the class was 3-star inside linebacker Ahdarrious Gee, also a Peach State product.
Not long after Fitten’s announcement, Muschamp showed his excitement with a familiar tweet.
