On Monday night, 3-star safety Israel Mukuamu, who played his junior season of high school ball in South Carolina, narrowed his options to four schools.
Florida State, Indiana, Oklahoma State and South Carolina made the cut.
Mukuamu will return to Berkeley (S.C.) High School on July 24 to announce a commitment. He transferred from Berkeley to Parkway (Bossier City, La.) after the 2016 season, during which he had 63 tackles, 7 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
According to the 247Sports composite, Mukuamu (6-foot-5, 187 pounds) is ranked as the No. 40 safety in the Class of 2018. Among prospects from the state of Louisiana, he’s No. 22 overall.
