South Carolina arrived in Birmingham on Monday morning and encountered a snafu at its hotel later in the day.
USC offensive lineman Zack Bailey tweeted that the Gamecocks got stuck in a hotel elevator, claiming 12 people were “locked in” the elevator.

South Carolina is staying at the Sheraton Birmingham. The Gamecocks and South Florida play in the Birmingham Bowl at 2 p.m. ET Thursday.
The teams took part in a bowling competition Monday night.
