South Carolina player after loss: “Should (have) looked around like my parents said”
One of South Carolina’s top signees from this past year’s recruiting class questioned his decision to sign with the Gamecocks following their 45-24 loss to LSU on Saturday night.
Freshman defensive end Shameik Blackshear, a former 4-star recruit out of Bluffton, S.C., took to Twitter to voice his apparent regret at choosing South Carolina over other schools.
“Should (have) looked around like my parents said,” Blackshear tweeted. He added in a following tweet that everyone should listen to his or her parents.
Earlier Saturday, co-defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward told reporters that Blackshear would likely be redshirted this season.
Shameik Blackshear now likely to redshirt, Lorenzo Ward says.
