The floods throughout the state of Louisiana have been a huge concern.
Many people have been displaced as their homes and surrounding areas have been flooded. The scene is eerily similar to the flooding that went on in South Carolina last year. And that is why the University of South Carolina President, Harris Pastides, is reaching out to help those affected by the flood.
Floods in the Bayou. LSU helped us during our time of need. Reaching out to them now. One good hand deserve another. @UofSC

Last year, LSU provided relief to those in South Carolina affected by the floods. The two teams moved their scheduled game from Columbia, S.C., to Baton Rouge.
Louisiana has been devastated by the floods and affects thousands. LSU had to cancel its Fan Day on Saturday as well as its Media day on Sunday. The Governor of Louisiana called for a state of emergency on Saturday.
