If South Carolina is going to mount a second-half comeback, it’ll have to do so without top running back Brandon Wilds.
Wilds, the Gamecocks’ leading rusher, will miss the remainder of Saturday’s contest with an injury, Jeannine Edwards reported during the ESPN broadcast.
Wilds is playing in his final game at South Carolina. He was held to eight yards rushing on three carries in the first half.
USC sports info: Brandon Wilds is being re-evaluated. No word on the injury, or if he will return to the game.
