The two 2018 recruits were among the standouts visiting Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday.
“The offense to me,” Thomas said. “They are going to put up numbers this year, for sure. (The) defense looked good, too, especially with Skai (Moore) back.
“But, of course, they need pass rushers.”
Joyner was complimentary of the Gamecocks offense and sophomore quarterback Jake Bentley, who he believes is “way better” than he was a season ago.
“He looked great,” Joyner said. “Comfortable and decisive.”
For Thomas, it was the third visit of the spring to South Carolina. Earlier in the week, he was on campus with family. Now, he’s back in Bradenton, Fla., at IMG Academy. However, he’ll return to his home state next weekend.

For Joyner, who’s from Fort Dorchester High School in North Charleston, S.C., trips to Oregon and Alabama are on the docket, though he hasn’t nailed down any dates.
Those will be the last two visits he takes before announcing his decision on Father’s Day. N.C. State and Georgia are also under consideration.
Thomas will announce a commitment on his birthday, Dec. 20. South Carolina and Clemson are the finalists.
